Life in the 21st century, in an interconnected, globalized world, requires critical-thinking skills and a sense of international-mindedness, something that International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme students learn to know and understand.
The IB Diploma Programme is designed as an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students for success at university and life beyond.
Rudbeck IB offeres students an exciting and challenging range of subjects. To earn an IB Diploma, students study 6 subjects (3 at Higher Level, and 3 at Standard Level):
- a literature course in the student’s native language
- one additional language
- maths
- natural sciences
- social sciences
- arts or another subject from the sciences, languages or humanities.
In addition, students must complete 150 hours of Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS), write an extended essay (similar to a university research paper), and take a Theory of Knowledge course. |
