At Rudbeck you as an IB student will begin by following our ‘Pre-Diploma’ year – Pre-DP. This is a preparatory year in which you will be introduced to the study skills necessary for success in the Diploma Programme.
  
You will also cover the Swedish national curriculum for certain subjects for which you will be given Swedish grades. This enables students who wish to stay in Sweden for further studies the opportunity to ensure they have covered mandatory subjects for specific university courses – for example Medicine.

    

Subjects to read during pre-DP

The picture shows the subjects we presently offer for our pre-DP students. These can be subject to change. During the first year of the programme you are not required to select a specific ‘line’ or specialist subject area. You will therefore be able to decide whether to specialise in either the social or natural sciences towards the end of your pre DP year.
